Dual monitor & scrolling mouse
« on: January 05, 2017, 03:22:16 AM »
Okay! So is there anyway to lock the cursor inside Crysis? I play with dual monitors and my cursor keeps scrolling off and it makes it impossible to play effectively. Appreciate the help.

Is your game set to fullscreen when this happens? Also, try hitting Alt+Enter and see if that makes a difference.

Probably pretty obvious things to ask but someone has to get them out of the way ;)

It's full screen. Left monitor is the game and right monitor is just everything else. The cursors not locked ingame so I see my actual cursor on right monitor... click and minimize. Make it's almost impossible to play atm.

You might just have to disable one monitor in your display settings when wanting to play then...or get a third monitor and play with a triple monitor resolution ;D

Have a look at http://dualmonitortool.sourceforge.net/ (DMT - Cursor for example)

I use dual monitors and my cursor is locked within the game unless I alt+tab.  I run the game in a window.

Prodigal son my ass.

Sounds like the trick is to run it in window mode. Hit either alt+enter or deselect full screen in the graphics options. If you have it set to the full monitor resolution it should still basically look like full screen anyway.

When I am in windowed mode, the cursor might go beyond the window's boundaries. Though maybe it only does so when I alt-tabbed at least once, can't say for sure.

Are you playing in Direct X 9 or 10?

Thief gameplay + Doom3 engine = The Dark Mod
