verry cool do you have the 6 or 24 , post it ide love to see your set up .

i just have 3, it's one 20 inch lcd in the middle with 2 17 inch crts on the sides (im poor =/ ), but they all equal out to being the same height. once i have a nice income im going to do 5 wide screens side by side and then mod the monitors to cut the sides off and get rid of as much of the bevel as possible. I'll go hunt down a camera and get a pic up here in a bit

work in progress pics  = not presentable , thats the idea ! POST'UM

Yeah what he said, great to see other projects.

Thanks Wasp, I'll get some images of the internals when its on, temp display works well, the clock also adds some effect value. I had to stop adding extras somewhere as it was never going to get done, I could always add the extra temp display later.

gonna take apart an old keyboard and wire it up

Here's what I did to make it easy to connect the switches.

oh nifty. i've seen that before when i took apart one of my keyboards after water spilt on it and i was fixing it, thouhgh didn't much pay attention to how it operates. are all those white things just like little switches?

The white things I guess you mean are the screw terminals. You connect the push-button switch  to the corresponding key on the keyboard to each screw terminal (second pic) You need to work out what matrix position (ie A-12) corresponds to what keyboard key. It's pretty easy to do. I can explain more if you need.

Great thread here and would really like to see some more WIP photos of the various pits being made.
