A lot of us had alter egos in Hell's Enforcers. I ran HE under the name Blitz. Most of the WU played for this team too.

Lets see. I first began playing online Mech games on MPlayer long time ago with Mech2 i think it was. Then on GamingZone. That was when you had to learn to "Lead" your weapons, unlike the present LOL.
At that time I went by the name
[WM]Phoenix or- was it [WM]PhoenixFyre. Something like that.
And i do remember  "CyberWolf" and "Luger" from them days LOL.

Yeah.. we were [WM]Luger & [WM]CyberWolf.  Phoenix didn't come into the picture until later on.  Good memory bro.

I think that'd be a fun thing to do.  Why don't we chat this thread up , and start listing some clans off from netmech dos we all remember..and as many pilots associated with the unit as possible.  I think that'd be fun.

I was a Widowmaker on Mplayer back in the day. WM-Deathwing or WMxDeathwing is what I traveled under. Mottdahoop managed to drag me away to the Jade Wolves and than later I joined with the Terra Wolves. I even got a bloodname in a match against WM-Knight and WM-Justice and a third i can't remember.

I used to be pretty good at DFAs (Death From Above) I even got my pilot wings for it. Too bad later versions of Mechwarrior pretty much made it hard to get DFAs unless you just fell like a rock on top of them, instead of the smooth sideways slide with the jump jets with a one-hitter quitter to the cockpit. I used to have a lot of wireframe mode screenshots of red faced timber wolves.

WM-Justice was into Tribes also, I wonder if that is where he went.

I also remember being a member of the Planet War League (PWL) back than, with The Hell Clan (THC) always being on top or close to it.

MW2 was truly the only times I had fun playing Mechwarrior online.   

I think I still have a copy of that program "Mech Lab Maid" that helped in mech customization and snitched on the other player if they didn't follow the mech configuration rules that were agreed upon prior to launch.

Hey all,

I started playing MPBT on AOL way back in the day.  Then moved over to MPBT on GameStorm where Venom and I formed the GhostWalkers (for those of you that remember us, if any  ).  From there the GW stayed together through MW3, MPBT: 3025 beta, and of course MW4 and it's multiple add-ons.  The core of the GW is still gaming together through all these years, and we're really looking forward to Living Legends.

That was a looong time ago. I used to play in the ADL league, we had an all Alaskan Merc unit called the "StormWeavers". We would get together from all over the state and have occasional dinners and bullshit tactics while our wives looked at us like we were completely immature basement dwellers 

I really miss lag shooting also, you could take out an opponents leg long before he even found your "sweet spot". I remember a House Laio guy named "Raven" that spent almost an entire saturday with me when I was a raw noob, teaching me lag shooting and tactics in team battles.

One of our members moved down to the lower 48 and started his own Unit, at Arc-Royal.com (guess which unit?) I wonder what happened to those guys...
