I can't believe all of the familiar names I see here.  BTW, it was awesome meeting you in person Blasty and I see you found the site I was telling you about = )  I really don't think I can say much that hasn't already been said...  It would be great if we could get together another group like the one we had on PPP...

Whoa I could keep typing call signs all day and I apologize to anyone that I missed...  CSA may have been a PPP Clan back then but we all had to get Kali to play in NBTI and NBTII, I know some of us played in ADL a bit too.  Man that was a BLAST!  I am looking forward to seeing all of the old faces back online again.  This is going to be the MW version that we all hoped MW3 would be after playing MW2 Mercs 1.00 1.05 1.06 1.08 and 1.1 for all of that time.  I am looking forward to seeing you all again soon. <S>

My callsign was "CCC Zaphod" using a Thanatos heavy Mech. I even participated in some matches in the European Battletech League.

Been waiting forever now for a new MW game to come out, only so much you can play MW4 over and over...

MPlayer!  Now that's a blast to the 14.4 modem past.  I hadn't discovered 'Mech back then.  Spent all my time playing the original Quake on MPlayer before I found out about QuakeSpy or QSpy or whatever the precursor to GameSpy was called back then.  What about MechCommander on MPlayer?  Any of ya'll do that?

I was there, by the name of XPuNTeRX. I played in clans but I really can't remember which ones. I had a great time. There are times when I truly miss MC / MC:Gold

I don't know what made me do it, but I put my old call sign into yahoo to see what it pulls up, and here I see all this!  This is Shogun Smith back from the good ole MW2 days   I have been checking out this MW:LL on Youtube alot and it has gotten me pretty interested.  Would be great to get back into this with you all!

BTW with the lower post, Forkboy was the head of CHH, one hilarious dude.  Even funnier when later we became the Pirates of Butte Hold!

Hahaha, I named it that and had it on auto file host ever since that amazing day.  I think that server started out being named XvT Mechwarrior or something like that - AVenger liked Xwing versus Tie Fighter I imagine.

I love the screenshot of Joker, I miss my mplas, jj's and Valor.  Damn Mercenaries was such a great game, I can only hope this one will come close.

I still talk to Streak on ICQ/AIM, him and SpanQme actually.  The rest rarely show up online nowadays - heck, I almost met whoracle in real life up in NYC once but I just missed him.  SiberWolf would come to my lan parties all the time.   I wonder if he's still a nuke in the Navy.

Looks like I'm a little late to the party this time, heh. Lots of familiar names listed on here who I haven't talked to in years...

No more Navy for me, said good riddance to that back in 2005.

I think he has it wrong... Clanner want to die Valiantly in battle while most freebirths (IS ppl like me) want to survive battle to a nice coushy retirement age or something close to it. (well maybe no Liao and Kurita ppl, they are all like Sacrifice for the emperor and such.)

so it would be a good thing to say: "Glorious death to all Truebirths, (and a nice eventual retirement to all Inner Sphere freebirths xD )

Wow some of this stuff goes way back... Played as Scendore in Clan BlackHorse playing MW2 on Mplayer back in the day.  You will see another of my buds Forlong which I just introduced to this site a few days ago show up.  Pretty amazing just how long ago it was.  The last time I played was with MW4 which I just couldn't get into and of course I still own.  Interesting to read there is some serious modding going on with MW4 and it lives on.

I hope to see some others show up as well.

Wow hiya Siber   Been a while.    So ya kicked the Navy to the curb eh?  You still living up the VA/West VA/PA neck of woods?  I'm still in the same town I've always been in, though married now.
