Post ur fav mech ever!
Mine - Dire Wolf (Daishi)

PS. Would be cool if in a later release this was put into the mod along with the fafnir.
Then there could be a battle between the 2 most armed mechs in the battletech universe!!!! xD

Thor/Summoner hands down.

Fell in love with that mech ever since MW4. One of the most underestimated heavies of it's class, but has the widest range of combat roles a mech could have. Capable of defeating any other mech with it's moderate fire power but it's main highlight is it's maneuverability in tight Urban combat and jump capacity. DFA tactics and jump sniping didn't come from light or medium mechs - It came from the God of Thunder towering high on the Urban sky scraper raining hell about all barbarian Inner Sphere free borns!

Hmm... give me a new idea for a sig  :D.

Have to agree with Kami, Thor is my favorite mech for sure.  I feel naked without my jump jets.  It was always my mech of choice throughout online play.  The obsession started way... back when the toys for the cartoon series came out.  Ever since it has been my little baby.

The Atlas.  It's been my favorite since The Warrior Trilogy where Andrew Redburn was on Kathil and about to bite the dust from some Capellan forces and Morgan Hasek-Davion came up over the ridge and went downtown on'em.

Plus I've always loved these two pictures:

This is the best Atlas head I've ever seen.  I like it so much more than the traditional teethy looking one and to me it seems way more skullish and menacing.

It's always hard to choose a favorite!  For me, it has to be the Thanatos.  A versatile light heavyweight slugger.

My favorite mech is the Jenner JR7-D.  I've prefered the 3025 era over the clan stuff, especially on tabletop.  I cut my teeth on tabletop battletech back in the late '80s and computer battletech with the old Cresent Hawk's Inception.

Either....

The original style Mad Dog (God, why did MW4 have to convince Legions of people it's a long range support mech only?)

OR

The Shadowcat variant I usually ran in tourneys, which dropped the Lasers for masses of Machine Guns. Jump behind an Assault Mech, Called Shot, Gauss Rifle the rear armour, empty all the Machine Guns into the Internals for maximum number of Crit rolls, watch as their ammo explodes. :D

Marauder is my all time favorite, but the Battletech / coppyright fight with whomever killed that.

Next would be the Timberwolf / Madcat (MW's version of the Marauder), a perfect balance of long and short range weapons.

I've always liked the teeny light mechs. The Shadowcat is tied with the Cougar and Locust for me.

Cougar is pretty excellent...what i've always wanted to see is the Cougar vs. The Puma (Puma wins IMO) what do you guys think?
