You Animal  ;D lol

The above is not meant as an assault against MechPredator, on the contrary he contributes the topics with his own "light". I do not have anything against him or others on site, unless your one of those idiots posting (censored) stuff as new topics.

The above post could be deleted easily and I would then be forced to delete my post prior to that. Simple as that.

Why I called him a Post Predator stems from the post in the Update FAQ! ;)
Nothing mean or degrading lays in that sentence.

Good Morning!  Just stopping by in the hopes that there will be a release soon!

Thanks again to all of  you that have worked so hard to make this mod!

Maybe I missed it, but I already own Crysis:Warhead.  Do I still need to get the "real" Crysis?  Or can I use what I have for this mod?

Thanks!

Birdie

Answered numerous times before.  The initial release will be for vanilla Crysis.  At some point in the future the team may port over to Warhead.

/cheers

When you say 'Vanilla Crysis', do you mean Crysis version 1.0?  The latest version of Crysis (not warhead) should work right?

It should not only work, Crysis version 1.21 is required. "Vanilla Crysis" means that Crysis Warhead will not suffice at this time.

Crysis and Warhead share the same base engine, but the engine has been modified for warhead and the base code isn't interchangeable. Basically what it amounts to is we couldn't make the mod work on Warhead, even if we wanted to. When they release the SDK, it may be possible to port, but it's alot of work, so we'll have to see if it's worth the effort at that time.

But to answer your question clearly, Warhead will not work. You must have the original Crysis, and it must be patched at least to 1.2 but we're only certifying the mod on 1.2.1, so patch that high to be sure. Does that clear things up?

shame really, that the things making warhead run more smooth make it incompatible with MWLL ._.
