Did you buy Crysis for MWLL?

Well, I just did.

I played through Far Cry, and as fun as it was, it wasn't that good to buy the same game in shorter again. Graphics were pretty good in Far Cry already, too.

Even got the special edition from amazon.de at 26€.


I did my part, now release this beast! ;P

I upgraded both my home PCs so that I could play Crysis (and MWLL) on both them and my laptop. That includes power supplies and videocards. But since then I've built a new PC as well, moved most upgraded parts to new machine.

I can play Crysis on my MBP 17", but I think that's probably what fried the video card (I had the older ATI chipset, not the newer 8800 Nvidia crappy chipset). So after getting that fixed, I don't know if I will be using my laptop to play Crysis extensively...without somesort of extra cooling.

So yeah, I did buy it because of MWLL - but I might have bought it anyway because of the game engine. I did buy Warhead just because I enjoyed Crysis so much.

I just ordered Crysis on Friday for $19.99.  It sucked though since gamestop.com crashed a couple of times and took forever to load the billing information pages.

nVidia gave me a copy at GeForce LAN 4 on launch day.

And if my laptop ever sells (http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1363063) Ill finish building my i7/GTX280 rig for this and supcom.

I haven't bought my copy yet, but it will be for MWLL (The game Crysis will just be a bonus).

Nope. Built a whole new computer just before Crysis came out. Have been anticipating it's release for a long time. After a few months of playing Crysis MP I heard about this mod, and since Mechwarrior 2 and Ghost Bears Legacy were some of my favorite games I was really excited for this mod. Then I found this website and graced all of you with my useless comments. Hopefully that will change when we all get our hands on the first release.

PS Also bought Crysis Warhead...I am hoping you guys port it over as there are so many cool features that could be used in MW:LL. Crysis Wars has Autodownloader, optimized graphics, bigger and better explosions, Better HUD etc.

I bought one copy of Crysis when it was first released and played it a little bit but then I went and got a second copy from Gamestop on Black Friday so that when MWLL comes out both me and my son can join the fun. We both played MW4 and while I was an OK pilot he was absolutely deadly. Looking forward to the release.

I bought it strictly for the mod.

Granted I've played the mutliplayer piece now and I was impressed by the overall scale of the game in multiplayer.  I had a team of speds and nobody actively working to co-ordinate things, and I wasn't interested in trying to command at that point, so it was more than a little haphazard.  At the heart of it though is the potential for a deep tactical engagements with solid game dynamics.  This is something that I always appreciated from the Battlefield series except this actually gives you a reason why you need the individual points.  Gone are the random meaningless flags and tactical superiority becomes a real concern.

Based on everything I've read regard MWLL the same system applies, a slightly grander scale, and neater toys, but the same dynamic multiplayer system.

I can't wait.

I do not have a copy of Crysis - yet.
I will buy one as soon as Living Legends is released - I'm not really interested in the game itself, so there is no point of buying it earlier.
