hehe I think you misunderstood me MP, the 4870 (1024RAM) draws around 120w where the 4870x2 (2048RAM) draws +300w easily, when loaded. Hence e-bill (electric bill) whore

Yeah I found out that the 4850X2 is good enough for me, and it saves me 80 euro's
And 80 euro's for an average of 7-10fps more...

If you are on a budget...try the 3870x2...it's no 48 series by any means....but read some reviews and benchmarks and its not too shabby....save some $ too.

I got Crysis for this mod and I'm glad I did, its an awesome game. I just finished playing Crysis: Warhead, because I was so impressed with Crysis. Both games are amazing and have been the most fun I've ever had with singleplayer.

I had a 3870X2, that one broke, then I got a 4870 XXX (Not an X2), that one broke too....
Now I'm having the 4850X2 (4850x2, not the 4870x2 )

so there is a budget, but not a small one...

Well, I just did.

I played through Far Cry, and as fun as it was, it wasn't that good to buy the same game in shorter again. Graphics were pretty good in Far Cry already, too.

Even got the special edition from amazon.de at 26€.

Yeah. i bought Crysis prety much just for the mods.

Well, I got the 4850X2... He's quite silent though (haven't played a game yet).

I'm installing the videocard atm, as soon as it's finished I'll benchmark Crysis!
