Haha yeah I loved the Daishi in the old games, but it won't be seeing the first beta release here.  Perhaps in the future it may be added in ;)

I would rather like to see more diverse 'Mechs :D The list right now shows so many 100t assaults ... would like to see more in the lower ranges too. Soemtime ... someday .. maybe.

I don't like the massive assault 'Mechs. In some situations, I favor the large ones, but not usually. Their just big and clunky to me. I like the smaller 'Mechs for the most part, mainly because of speed and agility, with a bit of firepower. If I can shoot, get behind a hill, and come around from another side, I'm perfectly happy. With the huge ones like Atlases, I don't find it entertaining just going in, all guns blazing, then flat out annihilating the opposition. In some cases it's fun though.

My favorites were the Cougar, Shadowcat, Uziel, and Vulture. Fast, and they can pack a punch.

Before we get more 100 tonners we should have the Battlemaster and the Warhammer IIC.

Two iconic designs and they have more short range weapons than the other assault mechs.

After that, pile in another pair of light mechs. I suggest the Panther and the Jenner IIC.
