you mean, like, solid state society? eh, no, that's ghost in the shell . .
solid state disks? still a bit too expansive size-wise, but you can get smaller ones for about 200 bucks i guess . .
and you can put them into a raid array like you would usual SATA HArddrives too . .
but the performance gain ain't all that big really . . just use some 10k/rpm HDD's raided together and for the same price you will have about the same performance with vastly more storage capacity . .
SSD's in my eyes are only worth it for things like laptops or car-computers where there is much bumping around and moving parts, especially at the speed of a normal HDD, would suffer horrible damage if there were to be an accident . .
