I know this is a fair bit to ask....
« on: December 30, 2008, 01:12:32 AM »
But will there be a final trailer? Please dont take this as a "OMG-I-WANT-A-TRAILER-NOW-DAMMIT!!!" plea.

Just wandering if one is planned. :)

Expect more video footage to be released during the advent calendar. An actual trailer prior to public release isn't unlikely either.

Yay! And none of the cheesy Dave School acting. ;)

Even though that was pretty cool...

I know, as soon as this is released, I will be putting a machinima production together. Matter of fact, it will probably take up most of my game play time..but, it should be fun indeed.
Talk has already been discussed amongst the community members.

Wow, with the superb visual quality of this project I can only imagine some of the machinima (or Mechinima) that will be produced.

Actually, that just made me think of a question. I am unsure if this had been a topic of discussion or not, but..
Will there be multiple viewpoints? First person,Third Person and multiple camera angles?

It's been discussed, but I can't remember where.  Use the search feature.

as far as i remember, there will be only first person view.
at least in beta, probably in release too, but maybe they change their minds on this. not likely though. but it could happen! people are known to do that from time to time *nods sagely*

No, there will be an external view but it will not be a typical third person viewpoint so you will not be able to fight from it.

So, no more people looking at their toes facing a wall to spy on people?

Cool, I love the pictures but real footage is always better. The first thing that drew me to the mod was the sheer volume of footage you guys had posted in the long line of newsletters that you released. They really make you salivate, plus it serves to show us what real gameplay could be like.

Either way, the advent calendar is great stuff and we're all very appreciative.

You could change the name from the advent calender to the Battle of Tukayyid ETA.
I do not have any emotions, only an emotion processor.

X_x  Tukayyid was epic. It would require that we have massive servers and tons of people.
