That is a fully working download of MechCommander 2. Yeah, that's MechCommander, not MechWarrior - strategy, not first person shooter. It is called Shared Source because basically, you'd be able to work on the source files for the game, but to play, that isn't necessary.

Torrent downloads for both MC1 and MC2. Plus a bunch of addons for both. Personally, I didn't like MC2 all that much, but loved MC1. Anyway, enjoy

No. The executable is somewhere there, hidden in a subdirectory.

Yeah, the executable is in there.  If you go the folder it unpacks and installs to there is the actual game folder inside of that one and then in there are like three executables.  I forget which one is the program off the top of my head but it's in there.

No duh Wraith, I did that and not happy with the results. I'm looking for a recommended place to get all of them in one shot since they shut down the site for it! Again anybody have a real suggestion were they got it from or where they would recommend getting it?

Get mechcommander omnitech. Its a redo of mechcommander 2, but not as unbalanced as the original mc2 version.
