can we expect to be able to be able to do a little point blank shooting while clinging onto mechs in some future release?

As for defense.  Anti infantry pods are always possible, i know rules wise they only work on unarmored infantry, but come on, its a half ton claymore mine, i'm surprised the explosion alone doesn't blow off the legs of the mech using them considering that 1 mine is equivalent to 60 lrms or 2.5 arrow 4s in weight.

This is definetly something i want to get in. right now its just a matter of time. CryENGINE2 has a really interesting offhand system that we could take advantage of just matter of development time ;)

yes, yes, i was referring to WTC and the Il-Khans Attack Jumpship that had a Nose Dive Date with one little Fighter-Jet commandeered by Tyra Myraborg *snickers*

i like splash-damage, as it's most often te only thing able to get rid of annoyingly small little critters with higher numbers . .
i like how the destroyed madcat gets the atlas in MW3 Opening ^^

like buildings and jumpships

No, like most Mechs and heavy vehicles. If you're in a war-torn Atlas, you will not want to get too close to, say, a Puma, because even if you beat them, chances are they'll find revenge after dying.

Hmm.. interesting.

psh, i don't know about YOUR atlas, but mine just opens its mouth and eats the puma whole and belches the explosion, like jim carrey eating dynamite in the end of the mask movie.

would the mech self-destruct killing the elemental too?

Let's just say last playtest on one game I saw 5 critical explosions happen off in the distance right after one another as each mech explosion caused a chain reaction of explosions from near by mechs due to the fact that the mechs in that area were fighting so close that when one of them blew after all of them were "war torn" from damages they all kinda went up in flames  :D

Just got my copy of Crysis special edition today exclusively for this MOD.

I can not wait to see Elementals back in the Mechwarrior game environment.... I can remember playing as an elemental way back on Mechwarrior 2 on the old 56k Modem. It was fun having 5 elementals try to take down a Madcat. =>

That's why you use anti-Battlearmor pods instead.

$20 at Gamestop?
That was just a short-time offer I think.
Gamestop actually says 40$ als Download, and 30$ for Warhead (Disc & Download).

Right now, no. Basically if you do it right now it crashes all the clients but the server stays up ;) Another one of the reasons we needed a bit more time.

This is not something we are planning on adding, the most that you will be able to do is damage to the other elemental just as if you were punching him. For now though don't plan on any dancing with your buddies hehe.
