The Adder, like the Kit Fox, has 16 tons of pod space.  Perfect for hunting those pesky spheroid scout mechs.

Hmmm I agree, looks a little like its carrying a the firepower for something a lot heavier, but then I looked at the TRO specs and these arn't such a great departure.  Sure the flamers gone, and that was the only fixed weapon on the Adder/Puma (and would be nice to see it toasting infantry, but they're not in the release).  The Prime and A look pretty much like their cannon counterparts, B & C look a little overpowered (would expect a LBX10 and a UAC5 on a Clan "light 'mech hunter" role 'mech) but then again we have no idea as to weapon fire rate or how all these weapons actually function and balance in the game yet.

Looks pretty sweet :)

Anything that has a high rate of fire helps BIGTIME against Battlesuits that's why the puma C variant is a REALLY nice all rounder.

How well does BA hold up to MG's in the mod?  I seem to remember from the boardgame that an elemental could take several hits from a machine gun.

That is how I remember it as well.  Just curious how that translates in the mod.  How quickly could a MG chew up an elemental?

even if it does not kill the elemental, if the force from the hit is big enough to do ragdoll stuff to the elemental, that's gonna be annoying as hell ^^
bullets don't do damage, but the elemental is like a turtle that's been put on the back of it's shell and someone is making it spin with a constant spray of bullets for the elemental and water for the turtle ^^
'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'
