Just wondering what you guys are going to do after you finishs the mod because it will come out soon(hopefully). So are you guys going to be adding more maps, mech? Or just work on trouble shooting ajd inproving the mod. Hopefully you will do both.

Well, I hear alot of the time them saying "Not in the initial release" hinting that things may be in the works after the initial release.

Im sure bug squashing will always be on the list of things to do

well, first they have to finish the beta version (that one is almost complete) first.
Then maybe some patches for the beta version.
After a long beta-testing period there will be the initial release.
Many maps will soon follow, (with the possibility of fan-made-maps?)
Patches will follow

as you can see they always think what's next! (And this fact means that this mod is going to be awesome, made by awesome modders!)

Yeh the production release date will be start of 2010 (only if im interpreting my reading right). (dont quote me on that), so from then till now will be touching up, improving, and adding more maps on.

We have a few things planned for the future. Some involve MWLL and some don't. We are very seriously looking at Singleplayer campaign though.

Plus we were already told that the Beta would be a closed beta that we don't get to participate in ?

Come on guys don't leave us hangin with our peter's in our hands for a whole year again.

If it truelly is gonna be that long before a real release then please let us get our fingers on the beta!

Dude, please check *who* said that. Not a Lead Dev, not a Developer, not even an Apprentice Dev. A random forum member with 14 posts who just signed up 2 days ago.
I have no idea where he took that number from. I can assure you that this is not true at all.
As Criminal just stated, by 2010 we might already be busy doing other things.

There will definitely be something playable for everyone in 2009, long before the holiday season.

We are very seriously looking at Singleplayer campaign though.

That would be good! Many, perhaps most, gamers don't venture online that much for all sorts of reasons so a single-player campaign and an instant-action mode would greatly increase the player base. Would Crytek give help on developing a Mech AI?

Cheers,

RD.

Besides, I would like to know if we could get a price list (CBILL's) of all the mech's and weapons? (of course only the weapons and mech's we have seen during the advent calenders)

No.

If you want a heads up, find a battle value table on the internet because that's the foundation of our costs with changes and optimizations.

About the singleplayer, I would be interested in joining the team as a stroywriter/mission concept designer.  Should I put in an application now or wait until you officially announce a singleplayer campaign?
