On February 9th, MWLL is opening door #71 in its advent calendar. Today's screenshot takes us back to cold, snow, ice and hills. An Inner Sphere Longinus in a scouting position has just discovered a group of clan combat vehicles in a nearby canyon. Enjoy!

That looks pretty nice.

'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'

You know, We have seen Spectacular moon scapes, Desert scapes, Forests, Ice covered hills....   But... Where are the city maps? There are going to be Urban settings right?

While we've tried quite a few city maps, the performance hit has been too substantial, so we're looking into it but for now, there aren't any planned for the beta release.

I can imagine so much details in such a confined space would kill the FPS on any system. With so much going on in these maps, what kind of horsepower on the servers will be needed?

OP, beautiful image. I think having the ability to be in an armored suit will please those who are not wanting to be pure mech heads.
