Welcome to the opening of door #73 in MWLL's advent calendar. The screenshot we'll be showing you on February 11th is yet another combat scene on SA_Extremity: a Catapult is sending some of his destructive load towards the enemy Mech Hangar. The little round waves are weather effects and not cause by the LRMs. Enjoy!

LRMS look fantastic!  The particle effect, I'm guessing, from the back of the tubes is a really nice touch.

LOOK OUT!  GET OUT OF THE HANGER!

LOL Ravir.

Interesting picture, but the particles coming out of the back of the LRM pods look a little weird to me.

'Think they only look funny in a static pic, animated they'd be cool!

Shards of phosphorous and spent ammo linkage falling away at the back :)

I agree, these effects of the weapons look stunning... adds a touch of realism!! Can you say bad day for whoever is on that receiving end??

Nice. Is that a TAG laser aimed into the hanger?

Cheers,

I like how the missles are not flying uniform, makes it much more real to me... and the trajectory path looks nice too.

it looks pretty nice, i will give you that.
but somehow, to me, missles leaving their tubes NEVER looks right <.< . .
the arc up is too tight for my taste.
but tastes do differ, as long as you are happy with it, it is good that way ^^
and i guess once we actually do get to play, i will be waayy to busy to notice something like that ^^
'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'
