and blackjack, and hookers, and...

You know, there is a Mech actually called "Blackjack" eh? Now all we need is a big boobed Mech named "Hooker" and another one that's foaming at the mouth called "8-ball".

My summoner can heat up tv dinners...  just leave them on the console... after battle... they are warm! Better yet... rather than asking what the developers will deliver, ask them how they plan on treating all of our urinary track infections from not peeing while playing this awesome looking game!

Real Mechwarriors have colostomy lines installed.

OMG teh funni!  Love those weaponry wish lists guys.  I needed a good chuckle. :)  In fact, it has inspired me to provide my own happy list.  Not sure if it'll be on par with yours, but hopefully a few will appreciate it. ;)

1. Retroblaster class 3025. Instantly transforms the most heavily modded, super-powered mech into a 3025 class mech, complete with inadequate heat sinks, paper thin armor, and only enough weapons to level a strip mall, instead of a city.  Available only to players over the age of 30.
2. Roleplay Enforcer Mk III. Successful impact on an enemy will force the player to roleplay his chosen faction precisely.  Clanners will be bound by bidding rules and goofy slang, Kurita forces will adhere to Bushido and text in Otaku-speak, Mercs will curse constantly and run like little girls when facing tough odds, etc.
3. Whiney Eradicator XL.  Also known as the STFU Gun.  Fires a beam of shamefully bright green energy that will adhere to any enemy, making them look something like a glow-stik(tm) in a raver chick's hair.  While under the effect of this energy, the pilot cannot complain about anything at all, including old-timer's bitching about the game being ruined by the clans, twitchy hyper kids blaming lag for their eradication, and power-tripping lance commanders screaming obscenities at their squad across TeamSpeak.
4. URNAD 3000.  Short for "You Are Now A Dev", this cannon will immediately imprison any enemy struck in a dark room with an unbreakable chain tethering them to an underpowered PC with 5 year-old modeling software.  They are forced to remain until they learn exactly how difficult it is to create a game/mod, or until they expire from dehydration, starvation, or self-inflicted injuries.
5. GSMs.  These missiles are identical to standard LRMs with the exception that they will unerringly veer toward any teamkiller, lagger, or griefer on either side of a conflict and strike them in the cockpit...specifically in the groin.  Player will then experience a RL sensation equivalent to being kicked in the scrotum by a clydesdale.  Follow up with the Whiney Eradicator is encouraged.

Just some I'd love to see.

Prototype development should be complete somewhere around June.  I'll add you to the market/usability testing list.  We are not responsible for loss of bodily control functions while laughing at griefers squealing in soprano.

1.) LAM-2-SLTR: This weapon instantly transmogrifies an enemy mech into its LAM equivalent, but transforms every 5 seconds. The mech now projects Minmay singing to a 400 km range at five times the sound volume of all other effects in game. Additionally, the player is removed from all teams and becomes a valid target for all other players.

2.) Laser Frisbees: The mech hurls a laser frisbee at the enemy mech. If the enemy mech has hand actuators then it catches the frisbee and can launch it at someone else. If it lacks hands, however, then the mech is instantly cut in half.

3.) Dance Fight 3200 MC: Though short ranged at only 90 meters, the Dance Fight 3200 MC instantly locks the target enemy mech into a dance fight. Dance moves are performed using the number pad to hit colored arrows which scroll down along your HUD. Whoever loses the match gets served causing their entire team to lose street cred, also, you win the enemy mechwarrior's girlfriend.

4.) Clan ER Large Loser: Though it weighs 28 tons, the Clan ER Large Loser inflicts in a single shot the same amount of damage as an ER LL Boat Nova Cat's alpha strike. The mech then self destructs and ignites the planet's atmosphere.

I'm currently working on the Ultra Flash Cannon:  Fires a rainbow-colored helical beam that does no damage, but causes the target's cockpit to be filled with useless graphical whizbang and gizmos, obstructing all view and useful information, but thoroughly entertaining the pilot for 30 seconds.

Wolfsbane, thanks for clearing that up. Reason why I'm interested in MWLL the most is because having played 2 and 3, I'm just wanting to play a game that would leave a lasting impression like those two games combined. Plus, I wanted to see another mod (there's MechVM for 2, and Freako's Mod for 3, they want to keep the game as faithful as possible in this modern-day environment, put them up to today's standards and add most of the great inventory and some original stuff.)

And for the rest of you guys making silly comments, why don't you pull off a Garry's Mod on this game when the time comes?
With clowny mech skins, confetti explosions, pellet guns, and a whacky story to top it off?

[If you don't know what that is, it's a sandbox play-around mod for Half-Life 2 or any game that uses the Source Engine.]

My summoner can heat up TV dinners...  just leave them on the console... after battle... they are warm!

Can't you just heat up your sandwich using the Mech's internal heat?
Current Events for me: Finals. Cheers for MWLL's official release. Need to get a comp capable of running it.

For me making a new comp: Need to find two grand for parts first.

hehehe.  That'd be funny as hell.  Of course I'd actually have to have some dev talent to do it, but I'd sure love to see it.
