REPAIR BAYS
« on: February 25, 2009, 08:17:27 AM »

Hello to all designers of the future MOD of the century .. Think you to "install" repair bays on the ground. I think that there are not enough on the various cards offered at your competitor. This forces the player to play in managing the damage in his BATTLEMECH versions of the game NH / UA and H / LA

This is an interesting topic.  I just got a flash back from mech3 when I used to waste peeps trying to repair and load up on ammo LOL.

that's pretty cool, the possibility to epair your vehicles makes gameplay a lot more interesting.

I think there should only be repair bays at the main base. And it should take at least 1-3 min depending on how much your hurt.

GAWD!  I miss my twin AC20s back in MW3.  It was the weapon of choice back then, it could waste mechs trying to repair in mechbays in 10 seconds.

The actual file size of your avatar is small.

The site hosting it takes forever to respond to requests though, and that makes THIS site hang while it waits for the image request.

Not great.

That's why I took it off actually.
Feel free to find a hoster for that with better load times.

Of course you can, but if it causes threads with your posts in it to load significantly slower because that site isn't loading fast enough, I'll be taking it down again and you will be required to find something else. Either host the avatar elsewhere or use an entirely different one.

Will you be vulnerable while repairing?

I guess so, but you will have to enter an enemy's base (or get close to...) to take one out.

Repair bays would be easy to destroy because they need everything to work to repair a mech. so just a couple hits from something small would kill it.
