MWLL is opening door #91 in its release countdown calendar. The screenshot of March 1st gets us back to ToA_Clearcut and up in the air. We're following an Inner Sphere Sparrow Hawk, who is witnessing some of comrades already engaged in dogfights with Clan fighters. Enjoy!

Things fighters in the air are going to bring a whole new dimension to the games, and with use ground pounders having to keep low and watching the skies with a vigilant eye...

I still get all giddy when I see these, and having a new desktop every day is sweet.

Are cockpit controls affected by damage taken? Is it harder to fly during/after taking damage?  When taking X amount of damage does the "plane" lurch/drop/go partially out of control etc? Will sitting on the ground and pegging an aerobastard with AC2's make it harder to pilot?

I REALLY hope that one of the mods/loadouts on one of the mechs is specifically designed to shoot these bastards outta the sky. If so... I think I've found my role. Die you flying bastards DIE!

PS what are the odds any aerospace will be equipped with TAG? I realize that would be damn tough to implement, but think of the carnage if you could TAG an aeropunk and watch as missles from all over the map streak to turn some cocky pilot into falling slag. I'd learn how to fly just to shoot the bastards down.

Mouse and keyboard work quite well. If you're more experienced with that combination, there's really no need to use a joystick for that purpose in MWLL.

Middle distance LOD looks a bit shocking but great shot, map really feels big.

 ;D  Give me my MAULER!!!!!  I want to knock some Aero's down! :)

The map looks great IMO, the shot itself is fantastic, best one I've seen for a few weeks.

Aero's will change everything about the MW games, and all for the better.  Love it.
