It is March 2nd and we're presenting to you what's behind door #92 in MWLL's release countdown calendar. Today, we're presenting to you another yet unfeatured map called SA_Inferno. This map, built on volcanic rock, is still *very* early work in progress, but already offers the barren lands and streams of boiling lava you'd expect from such a place. In this hostile environment, an Uziel obviously spotted an enemy and opens fire. Enjoy!

nice picture, but it looks like the mech is shooting through the rock.   I realize the SA_Inferno map is still a work in progress, so maybe that's why.

I keep looking at the picture trying to figure out if the lighted areas are lit from below or if they are from openings in the "rock wall" of whatever is casting the shadow over the area.

Very cool picture. I have loved the views of the maps from the last three calendar pictures. It will be great to play on a variety of different maps. My favourite Crysis server (pretty much the only one I'll play in) is 24/7 Mesa lol.

Damn, and here I thought I had gotten jaded to all the pretty screenshots, but once again, my jaw drops.

And the Uziel is featured, which is always a bonus.

Oh, and FYI, Sometime in July I am going to be remodeling my office and not have a computer for two weeks. If you release MW:LL during that time I will literally cry. Cry like a baby.

Very nice, although I'm curious how you are planning on handling a 'Mech that has fallen into the lava.

Hopefully heatup until core  meltdown.

Also,it's not shooting through the rock.


How i play this is it just for making it or playing and making it

will be one of those maps where Aerospace thingies have an advantage, due to not running the risk of tripping into molten planet parts *grins*
'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'

The only thing SA_Inferno and that map have in common is the general theme, but it's the same guy who did/does them both ;)

As this map is *very* early WIP, it's all speculation, but it's not yet certain whether or not this map will even have aerospace at all.

Well, they could add flying volcano rocks that act as map-passive AA. You know, for balance xD.

Elementals should have even less protection from said heat.

Moral: BA have much better mobility and Jump jets. Dont fall in.  ;)

I'd imagine molten lava would quickly melt thru an elementals suit and cook the crispy critter within....... +1 mothernature....
