Wow, how the eff did you guys make a sandstorm in a MP level?! It seems to even affect the trees.

Yep.  Although currently the sandstorm is set to only take place between a certain length of time in the Time of Day cycle.

If it stays that way at release, people will be preparing battles not only with the terrain but also based on the server time of day.  Interesting tactics indeed.

Does the Sandstorm have any effect on assets sensors/optics?  (could see some mad dashes in the storm if it does )

Well you can't see anything more than about 40-70 meters in front of you so I usually rush into the storm once it happens. Because if you got a good look at where the enemy is going before the storm comes in you can ambush them in tanks/or whatever.

On that mission they only allowed you to use ppc's and torpedos.

underwater, but missiles, cannons, and PPC's did not
