Looks like a light 'mech game of hide and seek amongst the smoke plumes  8)

The Kitfox /Uller looks great, small sturdy and fast while packing a punch, a nasty little light 'mech hunter  ;D

It's a great little scene!

When I saw the thumbnail I thought I'd be getting a new desktop wallpaper, but when the fullsize image loaded I realized this wasn't the case... not only is the shot pretty low resolution, but the image compression artifacts turn all the details into a blurry mess.

It's still exciting to see the Uller, though.

i dont normally post for every screenshot, but I think this one deserves some comment. I thnk this map is exemplary with the hot flowing lava and billowing smoke plumes. You Devs should really consider putting this map into the Beta release. I showcases the mechs very well and looks like it would bring some extra challange to the game. It would definately have an impact on mech choise and configurement. I cant see coming here without jump jets and heatsinks a plenty.

Wow, love this mech model!

Really like the look of the mech.

One question, will there be multiple texture choices for body art on mechs? Possible for people to maybe Mod their texures on mechs?

Oh, baby!  My favorite 'Mech given a new lease on life  :'(

Flyingdebris was so kind as to draw this mech's variant A(1Gauss, 2ERMDLAS) for me a couple of years ago.
(2 years ago on wednesday, apparently!).  I'm so glad to see it--will Variant A be playable?

Holy Cow! Can an Uller carry that loadout without having paper-thin armour? Used to seing that sort of loadout on the 45ton Shadowcat, but not a 30 tonner! What fast moving sniper that mech would be!

Armours fairly light on the Kit Fox anyways (as a light 'mech it can't take the SCats level of punishment) and its slow for a light 'mech (but I fear 97kph will make it very fast in MW:LL making it even better as a light 'mech hunter)

This is the official blurb from Sarna.net:

The Kit Fox is a light Clan OmniMech with long-range combat as a primary focus, earning it the Inner Sphere codename of Uller, after the Norse god of archery.

Often fielded by Clan Jade Falcon, the Kit Fox has a surprising amount of firepower, with the ten built-in double heat sinks sometimes barely able to fully cool the 'Mech down. However, the Kit Fox is somewhat slow for its weight class, only capable of a top speed of 97.2 km/h, provided by a lightweight 180 XL Fusion Engine. Available tonnage is further increased by the use of a lightweight Endo Steel chassis. Four tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor provide the Kit Fox with ample protection.
[edit] Armament

In its primary configuration, the Kit Fox mounts an ER Large Laser and Small Pulse Laser on the left arm as its primary source of firepower. These are supplemented by an LB 5-X Autocannon for tactical flexibility and a Streak SRM-4 rack for close range combat.
[edit] Alternate Configurations

    * Alt. Config A - The A configuration of the Kit Fox uses a Gauss Rifle as its primary long-range weapon. Two ER Medium Lasers provide medium and short-range firepower. BV (1.0) = 1,218, BV (2.0) = 1,310

    * Alt. Config B - The B configuration of the Kit Fox boasts a rapid-fire Ultra Autocannon-10 as its primary weapon, startling considering the 'Mech's tonnage. An ER Medium Laser, ER Small Laser, and an SRM-6 rack allow the Kit Fox B to finish off anything that manages to close ranges. BV (1.0) = 1,016, BV (2.0) = 1,088

    * Alt. Config C - An attempt to employ the Kit Fox in a scouting role, the C configuration has but one ER Large Laser for long-range combat. Instead, the Kit Fox C mounts numerous light weapons, equipped with a Small Pulse Laser and dual Machine Guns. Two A-Pods provide excellent protection against infantry. While the Kit Fox C still has a somewhat slow speed, it is far more durable than other scout 'Mechs, and carries an array of three Anti-Missile Systems and an ECM Suite to further increase it's survivability. An Active Probe allows for detection of hidden units while scouting. BV (1.0) = 1,195, BV (2.0) = 1,150

    * Alt. Config D - The Kit Fox D is configured for indirect fire support, mounting dual LRM-15 racks as well as a LRM-5. A Narc Missile Beacon is also carried, which may be exploited by the Kit Fox D itself, as the targeting systems of Clan LRMs lack a minimum range; this literally allows the Kit Fox D to run up to an enemy and mark them for increased accuracy, and then fall back, firing the entire time. BV (1.0) = 1,070, BV (2.0) = 1,142

    * Alt. Config E - The Kit Fox E sports the new Advanced Tactical Missile system, mounting an ATM-3 rack, which can fire ammunition specifically designed for maximum effectiveness at a certain range, causing more damage at shorter ranges. Six added Jump Jets, allowing for a jump capacity of 180 meters, provide the Kit Fox E with additional mobility, allowing it to better exploit the ATM system, and an ER PPC provides the high firepower common to the 'Mech. BV (1.0) = 1,520, BV (2.0) = 1,418

    * Alt. Config F - The F configuration of the Kit Fox is armed with a powerful Hyper-Assault Gauss Rifle 20 which is capable of delivering large amounts of damage, especially for such a small 'Mech. This is backed up by two Medium Pulse Lasers for close combat. BV (2.0) = 1,219

    * Alt. Config H - The Kit Fox H sports the new Heavy Laser system for doubled close-range firepower, mounting dual Heavy Medium Lasers. A Gauss Rifle is used as the primary high-damage, long-range weapon. BV (1.0) = 1,122, BV (2.0) = 1,214

    * Alt. Config S - The Kit Fox S is intended for urban combat situations, and mounts six Jump Jets for increased flexibility. A Large Pulse Laser provides the Kit Fox S with its primary source of firepower. A Medium Pulse Laser and a Small Pulse Laser complement this, with a Streak SRM-4 for additional firepower. For point defense versus infantry, the Kit Fox S also mounts dual Machine Guns. BV (1.0) = 1,354, BV (2.0) = 1,342

    * Alt. Config W - Intended for medium to close range combat, the W configuration carries a simple yet effective arsenal. Its primary weapons are a pair of Large Pulse Lasers which are backed up by two Medium Pulse Lasers for close range combat. BV (2.0) = 1,431

I think I've spent to much time being blinkered by the PC games and forgotten the depth of history and variety that is afforded by BT as a boardgame. Thanks for showing me they way Heretic  ;D

that thing is frigging sick x.x
'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'
