What are those Elemental doing down there, seeing how much heat they can stand? BTW, I know there was some discussion on this but did we ever get a definitive answer from the Devs, are there any circumstances, either through weapons fire or Lava, that can overheat an Elemental? I searched the forum but came up with only speculative answers.

Well, I read a few of the battletech books, including "Test of Vegenance" which is almost exculsively about an elemental group... As far as I reckon the suit won't overheat like a battlemech. Battle mechs generate alot of heat through their engine, heavy weapons and movement.

Elementals are much smaller so I think heat is not an issue at their scale... Though I am sure an elemental will get uncomfortable standing two feet from a lava flow. =]
