I think we did a soundtrack thread somewhere, but I'm still all for some serious industrial/ebm/rave for mech stompins.  Combichrist, Suicide Commando, Wumpscut, Hocico, Cubanate, etc.  Maybe a bit of KMFDM, Juno Reactor and Rammstein to lean things a bit toward mainstream.  Dunno what the devs are going with tho.

I am sure the game music the Devs are going to put it the game will be great BUT if it does not work for us I am sure everyone has their own music or theme song to blast in the background. My favorite song for meching, which reminds me of when I was playing MPBT on AOL and Gamestorm, was Damage Inc. by Metallica.

It was our unit name so it fit even better.

I am sure I can think of other songs as well that I will be blasting in the background. I will be banging my head and rocking the mech. Hope it does not throw off my aim. /wink

Mas is right. Most of the tracks on the D2 album were rubbish in '96 and still are now. There's a couple of them I find listenable - if only they were named in order so it'd be possible to figure out who did them...
