@Askis, IIRC ArrowIV is an IS weapon, so if they're looking separating the weapons out by faction (IS & Clan) then it'd make sense for the Maddog not to have any ArrowIV "stock" configs, now the Catapult, yes!

Wonder how this will work out in MP after the beta, when we can all configure our machines as we want, will the server be able to enforce puretech rules such as a league like NBT demands etc all future things to worry about ;)

Actually, Arrow IV is Star League tech and thus available to both the Clans and IS.  If you need further convincing, the Huitzilopochtli is a Clan built dedicated artillery platform built around twin Arrow IV tubes (although they became RACs for AA in this mod).

Clans have always had Arrow systems available to them (TRO3055: Ref Naga). However, clans consider artillary to be dishonorable and are not keen on using them. They've had em, but think people who use them are icky!

Except Clan Hells Horses, those guys are cool!

Exactly, the clans have them but they cause problems with Zel so they are usually left out of combat (except possibly slung under ASFs).  Despite this, I think that as time goes on they will become much more prevalent in the Clans that have moved to the IS as they become more used to facing and countering IS tactics.

Catapult has them.

2 of them o:
Two arrow IV's? for a 65 ton mech? DAMN!

Well, two ArrowIV's, and nothing else.  Even has less heatsinks IIRC, which means they are real easy to overheat too.
