Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion Modding
« on: June 12, 2007, 06:00:52 PM »
Hey all, I wanted to let everyone know that I am going to be doing a mod for Oblivion.  I am doing it rather casualy but I hope to have a decent chunk done in a year.  Mostly its so I can learn my way around the byro engine.  Plus Bethesdas looking for level designers..hehe..So I thought I would start learning it.  Also If the engine is a prospect for my MMO project.  I like to spread myself around the entire spectrum of game design.
Anyways if anyone is interested in helping at all (devs and non devs alike) let me know.  It would just be a job to job thing where you model a object or texture it, whatever.  It may be a good change if you're looking for a break and don't want to do another 'mech.

Lol, well it isn't really a full on project for sure.  Just something I am doing once in awhile.  But my aim is mostly at new terrain not new content like weapons and such.  Though I would like to add some in.  First though I think I might tackle one of the "unique landscapes" mods that hasn't been done yet but is planned, like the desert perhaps.  Or I'll make my own.  Maybe a volcanic tropical island off the coast?

I'd be glad to help, if only I hadn't uninstalled Oblivion on my computer, and if only the CS actually worked on it! It's a wee bit slow. If you ever consider doing a Morrowind mod, though...
