I will probably go for a Mad Cat or Mad Cat MkII. With the modular system these two will be crazy customizable with their shoulder gun/missile pods plus their arms, not to mention good tonnage for some heavy stuff.

Warhammer with one PPC ripped out in favor of an LB-10X and plenty of ammo. Heat is much more manageable and the damage remains consistent with the added bonus of the scatter shot ripping up the internals.

A Marauder Mk IIC with the following:

2 ER (Clan) PPC's
4 ER (Clan) Large Lasers
and
1 Innersphere Railgun or 2 clan gauss rifles
Heat Sinks...if playing with heat on

or

A Fafnir with:

2 Clan ER PPC's
2 Heavy Gauss Rifles
3 Clan ER Large Lasers
and
2 Clan ER Medium Lasers

Again, Heat Sinks...if playing with heat on

I prefer big guns incase you didn't notice  ;D

Well, I would customize my favorite mech, the Awesome, but frankly, it needs no customization. But give me a nice thor, and i'll be pimping it out:

2 LBX AC 10s
2 ER Large Lasers
1 LRM 10
srms and med. lasers to fill it out

 lol I dunno, I am at a loss I was thinking of Piloting the Timber Wolf or Mad Dog.. But then I seen that there were the Marauder and Warhammer! Two of my favorite mechs.. But they are the IS versions! Ahhhh I am so lost ._. I am a clanner I don't want to have to pilot IS versions of my favorite mechs lol, I'll feel.. Unclean.
