What videocard do you use for the triple-monitor setup? Sli?

Asus EN8800GT Geforce 8800GT 512MB

The cards dont really matter so much as having the Matrox TripleHead "graphics expansion module". I tried playing around with software versions for triple monitors but wanted everything to be perfect for MWLL so I laid out the dough. I think it is worth it. It made playing Crysis just sick with the wide angle panoramic view. Next on the wish list is to get matching monitors, this is important as you want the same resolution on all screens, which I dont have but it still looks great.

True that my friend, it's like your peripheral vision picking up objects to the side that are moving. You should see the other guys neck when I catch them sneaking up on me :D

the first pic below is what you would normally see
the second pic shows you the difference in information. (Now I know some will say you would have the same amount of info compressed on the smaller screen but that is not true. Side by side comparisons have shown that with the wider resolution you have more information. Dont ask, I am not a teckie but I have seen the photos.)
The third pic shows the ground effects in the side monitors. Again peripherally this adds to the realisim

So let me get this straight...You'll be able to play MWLL like this?  Spread out over three screens?  Is this something that is native to Crysis?  I could do this to?  What is the price for the Triplehead card and 3 screens?

if you tone it down enough so your system does not die, probably.
'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'

Excessive? Maybe. Want? Yes.

lol, Looks like an another "egghead" experiment, and I thought I was over the top. I would have at least like to have seen some practical application like he worked for Pixar or ILM and they found a way to reduce processing time with this new setup

At least the Triplemonitors can be useful, (when I am not gaming, which is most of the time, I regularly use all three monitors for multiple graphics design and webpage viewing.)

Absoluteamundo,  I am late in the game, people have been doing this for years.

Not it is not Crysis specific. The beauty of this (TripleHead2gg) setup is it tricks the computer into believing you really only have one monitor.
Monitors are cheap now, I think the TripleHead2go will set you back a couple hundred bucks.

Crysis did slow down with the larger resolution, but I have seen no performance hit running TomClancys Hawks at 5040 resolution with 2xAA and my computer is not really that advanced. I am not even overclocking though I could, I just don't need it.

Thermaltake Lanbox Lite
Intel Q6600 2.4GHz OC'd to 3.2GHz
Asus P5EVM-HDMI Micro ATX
4GB PQI DDR2 800 OC'd to 936
Nvidia 8800Ultra
Creative X-FI X-treme Gamer
Western Digital VelociRaptor 300GB SATA 3GB
Pioneer Blu-Ray Burner
580W Muskin Power supply (modular)
22" Samsung LCD monitor

pictures are kinda blurry.

I had originally watercooled the computer, unfortunately I developed a nasty kink right off of the pump. About a month after I had it up and running the kink caused the tubing to burst...Luckily i caught it before the damage hit. I took everything out that night and havent used it since.

I'm hoping to be upgrading the 8800Ultra to a GTX295 here soon. I really want to run SLI but with a MicroATX motherboard, it really wouldnt work. I really enjoy the LANbox too much to upgrade to a Full Tower to fit one of those 295's or multiple 280s and an ATX motherboard.
I was really surprised at the motherboard i used. It actually has a fairly decent chipset for a Micro. I as able to overclock the Q6600 to up to 3.6GHz before I started noticing thermal issues.
