Mechwarrior 2 TT XP patch help

I recently started getting back into Mechwarrior and decided to install the game that started it all for me: Mechwarrior 2. I read of an XP patch for the Titanium Trilogy and it worked...to a degree. I can watch the opening movie without a problem, but when it gets to the main menu, i can't click anything and the CTRL+ALT+Delete menu says it's not responding. What am i to do to get this running? If anyone can help me, that would be great. Thank you.

I have had a similar problem and have not found a solution.  From what I understand the patch is incomplete but I have no idea when they plan to finish it.

Try setting the game compatibility to Win 95. I recall having to do that even with the patch.

Hey man thanks a lot! It works great. I was having trouble with it so i replaced my old CD/DVD drive and changed the compatibility and it works great. Thanks again.
