I remember my first time playing a Mechwarrior game but I can't remember which one it was. Yes I know I fail as a fan. Hopefully someone can help me. I remember it telling me to pick a mech and standing in a boxed area. It began with the moving around, basic forward back torso twist then moving to a checkpoint. Helpful no probably not but getting to something maybe. I had to use my weapons individually on tanks and then the alpha strike. At the end of training we were attacked by an enemy mech. Had to go and hunt it down. Sorry not very helpful was a while and now I can't figure it out, please help this poor soul.
Mech 4 vengeance. Or maybe mw4 mercs, the two training tutorials were similar, except veng was in a desert and mercs was in a jungle.
Did you know you could go through the training bounds and run through the whole map destroying all the buildings, airplanes, hummers, and mechs as they were going about their own business? I even ran one of the people on the ground off the training complex into the desert, and then off the map by chasing him
There was stuff going on all over the place, I saw a vulture walking around and followed it for a bit. It eventually stopped just standing behind a mesa, I then pushed it back to the base. I think there were 5 or so mechs scattered here and there. Did a lot of exploring, was a pretty fun map with all those scripts running.
