Well maybe I should change my original vote then, lol.  Free goes a long way with me.     Although, for some reason my TS2 kept losing my PTT binding the other night.  It might be a good idea to reserve judgment until TS3 comes along...

I'm willing to pay for a more dependable program. I've had too many experiences with hacking, client crashes, and lack of clarity with TS servers. Never had any complaints with Ventrilo.

What OS are you using? If you are using Vista, you need to always run TS as administrator to retain the PTT binding.

I have been using TS most time for MW (in last uhmm 8 years) and am happy with it, I guess I am just used to it.

It's been a while since i've tried Ventrilo and mainly used TeamSpeak over the past years.
The main reason for using TS is because it's free and easy to use/host/maintain.

I'd also second Mumble and - although i haven't tested it yet - it'll most likely be the tool of
choice running along with MW:LL on my DS. Just heard positive feedback on it so far

Why do you use the boards of MWLL, for question that clearly belongs at your own Site?

I'm not a leader, but I think it is fair to say that we'll go with what the clan wants as a whole, but that doesn't mean outside sources aren't valuable. Especially from those with a lot of experience in vent/TS.

Thanks everyone for participating.  CHHš values your replies.  We have made our decision on this matter.  Maybe one thing that makes CHHš unique, we don't close ourselves off to the rest of the world when making important decisions.  Our clan leadership does not solely value the beliefs and opinions of our members.  We discuss issues, and if the matter is important enough, then we'll ask for some outside opinions.  We put a very high "dollar value" on your (the MWLL Community's) expert opinions.

Before making any investments that involve $, CHHš believe that getting as much information as possible from as many sources as possible, is of utmost importance.
