Mod instalation

Was just reading through some of the old posts,

thanks for still releasing on crysis to begin with, i was one of those suckers that raqn out to buy crysis for this so again thank you.

after installing and playing through the crysis SP campaign its actually pretty damn fun game, so my question is is it going to be installed as a mod, under the mod menu, or will MWLL be a "once installed always MWLL until a fresh install" kind of thing.

 I.. Really didn't care for Crysis SP, its more flare then anything else, a very very good looking game that I've played dozens and dozens of times before so.. I would kinda appreciate it if it was a one MWLL, always MWLL. But no its probably not, not many mods will kill the original game there has to be a point to launch it from.

As MWLL is a Crysis mod, it will be accessible through the mod menu. However, it will also be accessible through a separate launcher.
What it won't do is affect your Crysis installation - or even make it unusable.

Nice to know, but not a dealbreaker for me.  I don't expect to use Crysis ever again once MWLL is finished.

Ah that doesnt make you a sucker at all! Crysis is a great SP game if you like FPS games. I am very glad you voiced your opinion too because it has been a point of contention within the team wether to stay on Crysis or move the mod to Crysis Wars or Warhead.

My stance has always been that MWLL annouced last year that we would release for Crysis and if we switch that then we have people that specifically bought Crysis for MWLL and it just wouldnt be fair to those people to "force" them to buy a new game just to play the same game they expected to be able to play for Crysis.

We don't make alot of promises as you may have noticed. When we do promise something, however, you can rest assured that it WILL happen.

 i just got my crysis off ebay  for some reason the CD key lets me install but when i go to play  mutiplayer  i get autherion failed [3] i got the patch  1.2 also the CD crack for 1.2  will this effect when i play the mod. will i get the same error? but it works for the install and sp. also i can host on a local network connection and the game launches fine am i going to be able to play the mod?

well for one getting a pc game off ebay is just stupid.

for two crack kills, this goes for games too

for three just go buy the freaking game, dont try to save money with ebay on this matter, quality dude, not discount

give me the 50bucks then. sorry i am not loaded with cash like you. i got bills and gas and food that are far more importent .  you seen the ecom latey? also i hate switching cds when i can just point and click to play a game. keeps the cds in better shape if i onley have to use them once not each time i want to play. and i dont think this qustion was about how cheap i was  it was a qustion if it will work i do bleave. thank you... also i got into mechwarrior form  buying it off ebay back in the 90s sorry iam so stupid for not wanting to get riped off. i got crysis for 15$  mech2 and gbl pack for 5$ when i 1st got it.

hey, ill be honest right here, you caught me in a bad mood, i mean the worst mood ive been in for years. i cant tell you why because i was told to keep quiet about it. and im not loaded with cash either but last i checked crysis wasnt 50$ and if you get a game off ebay just make sure its new. saves a heck of alot of trouble. sorry i seem so scornful today im usually alot nicer

and if you cant get normal crysis to work in MP this wont work for you. to  answer the "original" question

Its been mentioned in a million different threads at this point... but to be clear: Special edition Crysis costs $20. Absolutely worth it IMO, unless you're not concerned with the beta.

nearist store with games is hour away. next cheapist place is in nevada's best buy alot cheaper then california's i have looked around lol you guys got the cheap stuff lol.
