I'd be careful with assumptions like this, it might be just the way the trailer is cut

I hope they'll now have civilians running around some areas, as seen in a few parts, in CoD4, the "shoot if it moves and doesn't give an x over your crosshair" mentality got kinda old after a while...

Haha, I saw this during a commercial of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals the other day. They also got rid of the Call of Doody, and now it's just MW2.

I am actually interested in this one as I need a modern shootan to replace CSS for me, so I will probably be getting it for teh PEECEE.

I want less arcade and more realism in these shooters that was my biggest complaint in CoD4, but this actually looks good so I may pick it up even though it'll be hypocritical of me since I originally said I don't care.

Want realism play arma2 when it comes out (which looks fairly good ) , CoD has never been about realism, it's a decent story on rails and a decent shooter.  Cod4 was a great story that I think is one of the only FPS I've actually completed in the last few years.

Personally i think just assuming is out of the question, i mean look at all that close combat that would NEVER happen on a real battlefield, and there wasn't anywere close to that much silliness in cod4 (at least in the cutscenes). Just saying that clotheslining someone with a pickaxe of his snowmobile is a little out there 

As for the civilians I agree. Of course it shouldn't be like some games where you shoot one and you lose, but there should be some punishment. I hate seeing all of my friends shooting every marine they see in halo cause theres no real consequence and it's free guns.

What that game has to do with actual modern warfare I dont know , but it looked like one cool action movie!

I never bought CoD4, because its still $40 (and just recently went down to that price) but I might get this one, as it looks like it has a pretty interesting story.

ACK! I hope not...COD4 was great, WAW was ok, but neither were ports.  Please stay PC based....im boycoting all games that start as consoles!

This is pretty much an xbox game ported to ps3\pc i think.

The game might be built with consoles in mind but it's ported from the pc to the consoles not the other way around, all the tools are made for the pc and there are special additional tools to then make parts for (such as the addtional menu's) for the consoles.
