Is that thing big enough so several mechs can duke it out on the roof?

It's like 70 stories high. But no, the roof isn't big enough, hehe. If it was used for something, I would say BA on the top, with tag lasers, aiming down. Would make cities VERY dangerous for 'Mechs.

Only because there's no way in hell for mechs to get up there or to hit something that's up there.
Only Aerospace could reach that. Make it so high that the TAG laser doesn't reach Mechs on the ground.
Still a nice point to spot from. And make it so you can only get up there by piggybacking on a Jet.

True. It's still just a skyscraper, didn't have that in mind when I was making it. It's mostly going to be eye-candy. Low-poly style. ;)

EDIT: Well then, I guess aeros will be an important factor in city maps.

I'm liking what your doing, your getting better all the time Nick, like the detailing on the roof, are you going to put windows in?  There's a modifier in Max called Mullions that can quickly do the windows, so you clone your building, Tessellate then Mullion the clone and you get the frames that way IIRC

Don't know if Blender has an equivalent though.

That's perfect, because my cousin has 3dsMax. I could send it to him, but I'd rather do it myself. I have a 3ds trial on my computer, so I'm going to try and add as much detail without going overboard, and then have "Mullions" work it's magic.

Now that you just mentioned Tessellation and Mullions, yeah. Thanks for that tip. :)

Oh, that's cool cause if you fire up max and go to the Help>Tutorial, then the first tut is sky scrappers so you'll really enjoy it I think :)

Wow, what a co-inky-dink.

EDIT: If there is anyone that is nicely familiar with UV-mapping or texturing, I would appreciate it that, after the model is finished, someone would texture it. Doesn't have to be perfect though. Would highly appreciate it. I can export it from .blend to .3ds, and many more. Just let me know what format your tool is, and I'll convert it for you.
