If you've just had a deja vu, rest assured: no, we're not short on news and recycling old announcements. The team of MechWarrior: Living Legends is indeed proud to again present to you Crytek's newest employee. While it hardly comes as a surprise to see another talented developer being offered a job opportunity in the games industry, the team is still proud to see another one from its ranks taking the next step.

Again, rest assured this is not news recycling: while, like the last time, Crytek's newest employee has the Tracy family name, this time, it is MWLL's Co-Lead and Creative Director Daniel Kamikaze Tracy who went all the way from Canada to Frankfurt, Germany, to work at Crytek.

Dear Dan, welcome to Germany and may the sky be the limit for your career at Crytek.  . .. .

Congratulations on your new job!
This certainly is a secret plan to overtake CryTek, isn't it?  ;D
I've been waiting for a long time, for this moment to come.
I'm destined for anything...at all.

wow, congrats Kamikaze!

And so events are set in motion....

hmmm, but it leaves me wondering...
What do these events mean for the MWLL team and it's goals?
Will there be a timely release?
Will the madcat make it to the dance recital? (omg drama)
Will people stop asking these questions?!
......Tune in for the next episode of......
CRYTEK: the Takeover

But srsly: Grats :D

I'm sure M$ will have something to say about that, even some subsidiary's of M$ can't even get hold of the license for it let alone an outside company.  But it also could be a nice tester to see if the franchise is still alive and kicking, take the numbers to Microsoft and plead for a new version :)

Congratulations Dan! This is an opportunity well earned and deserved. And just think, now when you and Sean are having one of your brotherly screamfests, you can do it face to face instead of on Teamspeak. *chuckle*  ;)

Best of Luck dude.  :)

Good lord, Crytek are going to have to keep Criminal and Kamikaze in separate rooms at all times otherwise they will never do any useful work for Crytek. They'll just be talking MW all day long.  :D

Didn't Smith and Tinker get that license somehow?

Amazing news!  Congratulations.

Smith & Tinker licensed the electronic entertainment rights to the MechWarrior video game franchise from Microsoft.

So technically, if S&T gives their okay, it's good to go right?
Because if they have the license right now, MicroSucks doesn't get a say in the matter right?
