Yeah, it was stupid how the Koreans practically had GOD mode on. I mean, shouldn't it take 1 hit to drop them to their knees? And then another to finish them? The unarmored ones even took a shitload of bullets to kill, if your not head-shotting them. Especially if you increase the difficulty, it takes even more. "I'm a hardcore NPC that is wearing little cloth rags and it takes a whole clip to take me down, Hell yeah!"

OK, I'm just gonna go head and ask this since it hasn't been asked here (but perhaps has been somewhere else, I didn't check) and really should be, even though it may be sensitive...

Is MWLL going to be ported from Crysis, to Crysis Wars, and then Crysis 2?

Are mechwarriors going to benefit from the glory that is Cryengine3?

Yes, there will be a release for Crysis and Crysis Wars.
As far as a release for Crysis 2 is concerned, please understand that this is something we will not be commenting on at this time or any time in the near future. There are too many unknown figures to be factored in. We don't know about the plans or schedules of each team member at that time, we don't know if Crytek will even provide modding support for Crysis 2 as it's no longer a PC exclusive title, we don't know what effort would be required to port MWLL or if the community - thinking of players as well as leagues hopefully - would even be interested.
So, sorry, but that is a question that will not receive an answer any time soon.

To Spartacus, thank you for asking my question

To AoP, thank you for sorta answering my question...at least now I'm sure that I'm ok with the game I have (Original Crysis) and I don't have to go buy anything else (Crysis Wars or Warhead or 2), cuz I don't care about Crysis I just wanna play some mechwarrior/battletech awesomeness

I think this is where Crysis has its traditional shooter elements showing. I too prefer games where one or two bullets kills the target. Which is why I am really excited about ARMA II. Its more simulation, and less arcade shooter.

Was never a fan of ArmA because their idea of "realism" was to totally gimp player movement and make it impossible to move fluidly (and in my eyes more realistic), by doing stuff like disabling use of the A+D keys (which I use heavily to more realistically make small adjustments to my movements that a game couldn't predict me to do).

Of course that was just one problem I had.  It didn't help that the voice over's were horrible, and robotic "ECHO... three.... movement.... ENEMY.... spotted... GET DOWN!!".  And getting shot once, would immediatly immobilize you.  Not using an "AAahhhh pain" ground animation, which might have been neat, but you literally instead just went to prone, and looked as if you were not hurt.  Which is horribly confusing to people when you literally just go prone automatically and can't get out of it.

Yeah, ArmA had a lot of little annoyances like that. A real diamond in the rough. For me I was willing to put up with the bad parts and enjoy the good parts.  e.g. A sniper needed to adjust for windage, elevation, and bullet travel, but when you get that hit, it is glorious.

I also liked how vehicles could dominate the battlefield and engage targets from a very long range out. In Battlefield 2, vehicles were usually a minor annoyance, with tanks being destroyed with a handful of grenades.

What I loved about Crysis is it let you play the game however you want. I snuck around in stealth mode and took targets out Splinter Cell style.

You should know, that the Crysis version will be the "beta" realease, while the Warhead version will be the fully supported one.
At least, that's what I gathered from dev info so far.

Really? So I do need to buy warhead?

You don't NEED to buy Warhead, even though it is recommended. You can still play MW:LL on Crysis, but if you want the FULL release, you will need Warhead.

So then I'm definitly gonna get warhead...after 7 years of no new releases finally something worth being associated with battletech and mechwarrior comes out, you better believe I want the full release.  thank you very much for clearing that up.

Well, (don't quote me on this) I think the full release will also be Crysis compatable.  But Warhead most likely will get the future support, seeing as it's multiplayer is more populated.

Some Guy made a video comparing CryEngine 2 on PC with CryEngine 3 on consoles. As expected, CE2 on PCs in very high does look better and more detailed than CE3, would've been surprising if not since (as the video also points out) the memory on consoles is very limited.

I hope they do push the graphics for PCs in spite of releasing console versions. I think scalability should been one of their top priorities when porting to consoles, so it runs on the consoles but doesn't lack on more powerful computers. But as can be seen, the PS3 version does look remarkably better then the XBox 360 version, so I am in good hope here. :)
I've been waiting for a long time, for this moment to come.
I'm destined for anything...at all.
