I know, when you least expect it is when it's the best.

Some other sound ideas:

Empty recycle bin:  "Enemy Mech Destroyed."
Maximize window:  "Targeting."
Error:  "Approaching critical heat level."
Critical stop:  "Heat level critical, shutdown imminent."
Shutdown:  "Shutting down."

if anybody has all of these i would appreciate a link :D

May I suggest this little sound for Shutting Down?

http://www.mediafire.com/?yjonjgzjohz

It's the shutdown sequence sound from StarSiege. If you want any other sounds from StarSiege for your Windows or anything else, just ask.
When will full game/demo/beta be released?
We're planning a beta release in the next *very* few weeks. At this time, we can't be more specific. Please stop asking.

No, I will not stop asking.

I love you guys...Who would have ever guessed there are now a hundred people who climb into a battlemech every time they press the power button on their computer...total immersion.  When I get back to the states and my lady hears about this...haha...So worth it.

Ah....Yeah, Afghanistan actually.  Been away for quite awhile, got about 3 months left.  Been a rewarding experience but I'm definitely ready to go home. ;)

Also, I get a little giddy every time I can start my computer up now.  I've joined the crowd.

Military.  I'm a chinook flight engineer...which means I get to come back to a main post every night and have nice privileges like decent internet where I can do things like use Skype, check email, or lurk around forums like a giddy fanboy on a pretty regular basis.

Naa, I'm at Bagram airbase.  the boys stationed at Kandahar and a few other places down south got to have THAT fun.  There's really not a whole lot of Marines here...we carry every individual that moves over 50 miles in this part of the country, and in the time I've been here I've moved a total of about 60 marines...they do business elsewhere.

I'd reckon standard Army if he's flying chinooks (or apart of a chinook crew).

AFAIK Air Force only deals with plane-tech, I believe.  Choppers and stuff are used by Army/Marines/Navy/etc

Could be wrong.

Yup, Army.  I'm National Guard though, attached to the 101st.  My unit is spread out over 3 locations to supplement the active army numbers...at least, as they see it...we really run the other two locations. :P
