Welcome to June's third and the eleventh overall weekly update by the team of the Crysis total conversion modification MECHWARRIOR: LIVING LEGENDS.

June is almost over and polishing is delivering nice results, while in other areas, we're still seeing new features being implemented. For this update, we've got four variants of the Inner Sphere's Partisan, a progress report on SA_Marshes and no less than SIX playtest screenshots. Enjoy!

Four Variants: Inner Sphere Partisan

It's been a while that we did not feature a Mech at this place. This update brings the Inner Sphere's airdefense tank Partisan in its four variants - textures have yet to be completed. As you can see, some of the loadouts are not only suitable to quickly take down heavy enemy aircraft, but should also serve well in a supporting role against enemy Mechs.

Progress Report: SA_Marshes

SA_Marshes is a prime example of how polishing and improving details can lead to a very much changed appearance and more impressive package. The three panorama shots show this swamp scenery at different times of the day and the large screenshot shows more details on the airstrip, which is still the place where the majority of the fighting will take place. Overgrown and decayed buildings and vehicles suggest that this base has been given up quite some time ago... the Clans and the Inner Sphere however are still fighting hard for every inch of this ground.

Playtest Impressions

Again, here are a few pictures from this week's playtest.

The awsome looks about 3 feet tall in one screenshot :P.

Great to hear that things are coming together, i'm not too hot about the marsh level but everything looks good anyway.

Nice update, great playtest shots.

If i do say so myself the mod is shaping up rather nicely. It's been an enjoyable watch since I first arrived on this website.

Keep up the good work guys.

having the ba standing in for size comparison is nice, but i must say my chin dropped when i saw the wep load outs on the tank, gives perspective to mech size relative to the tanks. meaning the weps look oversized on the tank but look proper on the mechs.

This is the 31st century, after all, and tanks have to compete with mechs. They won't be equipping heavy machine guns on the tanks, will they? ;)
I've been waiting for a long time, for this moment to come.

Marshes just keeps looking better and better, those towers, with the low lying mists and creepers totally work for me  8)

Partisan looks decent with RAC2, LB5X and LRMs, but surprised to see the Prime with 4AC2 thats really quite light and not much point when you got a RAC2 variant.  Would have preferred 4 Large Pulse or 4ERLarge as the Primary Anti-Air variant TBH.

Spi'n'polish is certainly working though, awesomesauce with actual Awesomes  ;D.

I presume the AC2s have much greater range that RAC2s and LBX AC5? I would think that if you fire the Quad AC2s in chain fire, you would be able to throw a wall of lead out a a very long range indeed.

If LBX AC5 weighs quite a bit more than the AC2, is the weight difference made up for in differing amounts of Armor?

Outstanding. The Rotary ACs have become a favorite weapon of mine every since I heard the "6 shot" mode for it referred to as "Full Rock N' Roll Mode". Of course it will be constant fire because this is real time, but referring to a giant multi-barrel cannon firing as "Rock N' Roll" doesn't sound any less sweet. Awesome to see them in all their glory.

I was counting on a missile variant for the Partisan appearing as one of the selectable 4 but was hoping for it to be equipped with an Arrow IV launcher. Ahh well, LRMS are better suited for ground to air anyway and that's the general idea behind the vehicle.

I was wondering, devs, can we get some screenies of the game in different settings, ranging from low-medium-high-very high? Some of our rigs aren't as strong as other's, and would be nice if we could see how we would be playing ahead of time, so we could decipher whether to keep pimping our rigs out, or leave them as they are.
