What is everyone playing while they wait?

I've been playing with the bots in the Crysis Campaign. It seems like after:

It seems like after you get out of the Shield dome, all those other guys are just cannon fodder. Explain to me, folks, how many FPS games with a good storyline that you've played that doesn't have anyone being set up to become cannon fodder. And no, zombies and/ or zombie cows do not count as "friendlies".

I liked the Modern Warfare 2 single player campaign a lot. It was fun, though a little short. It didn't have any levels that really grabbed me quite like some of the levels in CoD4 did either. Otherwise, can't fault anyone for liking that game.

It's the multiplayer that gets me. On console, I guess it's fine. No real change there... but it's so dumbed down for PC gamers... =(

Modern Warfare 2 was fun. Trying to get the final intel pieces, I got like 7 to go. I'm not looking up where to find them either.

I'm playing spider solitare and pinball on my pc!!!! quit playing the mmorpg i was playing just got burnt out on the whole social drama aspect of that gener kind of game but since then i have re landscaped the whole front of my house installed and wired a lamp post for the drive ways repainted the whole porch, installed a new porch light  chimmney cap arrived so im revamping the chimmney tomorrow .
 watching this community grow and the  and seeing the develpoments as they come along  so seeing how im in between games im playing game of real life pfft man that a lot of work lol

get cod- i need a buddy to kill with in vent...... NOBODY i know plays the damn game and i'm getting burnt out on it due to not having friends to play with- still love the game play though

YS Flight: Free Flight Sim

I was watching Macross Frontier on YouTube, and I stumbled across the following freeware flight sim program, along with a Variable Fighter mod for it as well. So, I figured I'd check it out. If you like flight sims and Macross/ Robotech, this program and mod is for you!

I'm quite sick of that theme being played out in every FPS game I know of.  Sure, the army of one thing is kind of cool for a game or two, but it gets old after awhile.  I mean, how many games do you know of, besides squad-based shooters, actually have you playing along with friendlies that don't die within the first couple minutes of meeting them?  Being a friendly AI character in a FPS is kind of like being a helicopter in a Michael Bay movie.

Even worse are games like MW2 where you have invincible/respawning friendly AI all the way to the end who flat out don't do ANYTHING 90% of the time.
