Transformers game demo out

The demo to the Transformers game has been released.
I downloaded from fileplanet http://www.fileplanet.com/176043/170000/fileinfo/Transformers:-The-Game-Demo but I suppose you'll be able to find it elsewhere.

Good fun! Not really outstanding or exceptional, but fun. You start as Bumblebee and get an introduction into the game in several levels, fighting various Decepticon drones and Barricade as 'boss enemy'. Together with those fight sequences, you'll also have to do some other stuff.

Well, I don't understand what you like about ET:QW, so I guess I can live with your dislike for this game as well.

I'm sorry, but the environment looks like PS1 GTA graphics and the vehicles and people look like silly little toys. Also fighting the Decepticon drones that look like crappy Japanese robo-tech ripp offs? Swinging in melee that only has 3 animations and a gun that doesn't look anything special... I'm sorry, this is a fail list.

The Game Devs even said, the most they focused on was the Transforming, Scale, and animations for the transformers alone. The rest I assume they threw to the wind, but at least they got the main stuff they wanted right?...

And you're just mad about Quake Wars since the only map you've seen is Sewer. The latest Closed Beta build is amazing BTW.

I see and understand your criticism. Maybe it's my different view on things... I'm fairly easy to enthuse by a good story and in that matter this game just scores  big time. Yes, it doesn't have overwhelming graphics (some nice effects though, like motion blur) and the controls feel a bit weird every now and then, but I didn't say it's a great game in first place. I said it's good fun and I stick to that

About ET:QW:
In addition to the items I mentioned there ( http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,36/topic,494.0/ ), it's the general feel of the game that bothers me.
I've been playing Quake 4 just a few days ago and it didn't feel anywhere as sloppy and spastic.

I personally was really disapointed in the open beta. I really hope you don't base your decision wether to play it or not on that alone honestly the build that's in the closed right now is far better. When they release beta 2 i think it will be a much better representation of the full game.
