Other Mechwarrior/Battletech Forums
« on: July 28, 2009, 06:12:27 PM »
How many of you are members of other Mechwarrior Battletech forums? If so, which ones? Do you guys have a positive reaction of MWLL over there? I'm just curious because we seem to find our way into forums and sort of stick with them like little communities. Thanks for the info!

Oh, and another note: Do your other BT/MW forums get a lot of downers and naysayers regarding new BT/MW games?

Other forums I go to have a thread about this mod.. The general response is (and this is a direct quote): "fapping beautiful."

The only other Mech forum I keep on with is Mektek, been lurking there since it was created.

I've been lucky so far and every forum that I have registered for has let me keep my name intacted.

CBT.com
mektek.net
Lordsofthebattlefield.com
camospecs.com
Battletechuniverse.com

I have not gone into the computer sections of them but I know some people at MekTek are really routing for MMLL to be successful, but since MW3015 is now annouced, I would guess they want both to work out.

I've kept up with MekTek for quite a long time, back when it was supporting MW3 very well.  If anything though, MekTek has done a lot for the community, whether by providing us a means of Zone-matching on MW4 after Microsoft stopped supporting it, or the MekPaks they've developed to keep giving the game that fresh feeling.

Dropship command forums, but things have pretty much slowed to crawl and I haven't been over in awhile.

Mektek community were all jerk-offs  >:(

Never going there again. Anywhere I can join that allow people just beyond the "Is Mechwarrior like mechassault?" state of mind?

Camospecs & Classicbattletech.com

But not staying too much on CBT. Seems like its devolved into a personal playground for a select few with fanservice/catgirl avatars.

I know what you mean about CBT, there are some seriously strange people over there, but then again that is kind of to be expected from people who picked up the board game in the 80's and are still active and playing more than 20 years later.
