Hmm...I would actually like to see a sort of progressively persistent system...I do like the idea of not seeing half a dozen assault mechs at the beginning of a match, but I don't really like the idea of a counter-strike esque start to each match, starting from bare minimums, scrambling to choose a mech and variant, and then fighting for kills in order to obtain the Mech I want to fight in...I think I would prefer some sort of persistent system...MPBT 3025 had a decent system...but I don't think an identical system would work...just something somewhat in it's spirit...I wish I had a more concrete way to explain this...anyone care to offer a hand?
On the other hand, a planetary league would take the place of a persistent system quite well, but perhaps having the option to start teams with different C-bill quantities would be a nice addition for league play.
