Welcome to the 19th Weekly Update by the team of MechWarrior: Living Legends, a Crysis total conversion modification, which covers the activities of the second week of August of 2009.

This week's update features the a lot of texture work on the Clans' Mad Cat/Timberwolf and Vulture/Mad Dog Mechs as well as the fully textured and implemented cockpit for the Inner Sphere's Owens.

Textures done: Weapons, Mad Cat & Vulture
A lot of texture work has been done these recent weeks and some of the results are shown in the screenshot below: the Gauss rifle is no longer a black box and two very popular and iconic Clan Mechs have received their new outfits: Mad Cat/Timberwolf and Vulture/Mad Dog hail in their new shiny glory.

Cockpit done: Inner Sphere's Owens
Not long ago we presented to you the WIP shots of the work that's being done on Owens' cockpit and while talented 3D artist Gibbage already has moved on to another cockpit, we'd like to present to you the fully textured and implemented controls and instruments. Please note though: at this time, this is decoration and not the actual HUD.

Playtest Impressions
Again, here are a few pictures from this week's playtest.

oh oh X armor panels

They look good. The Maddog looks like a mix of the original and MS version. However it actually looks heavier and bigger then the Timberwolf, since its long like the original, but meaty like the MS version.

Sick. The owens cockpit is just stylish. Feels like a modern jet fighter's cockpit. Great work guys, I'm very impressed with how quickly that cockpit was completed as well as all of the stuff shown. Another quality update.

The madcat is classic, and the vulture is well done also. They look proper and much more intimidating and nasty with those textures, they add a ton of attitude to those 'mechs that was sorely missing. Great work.

Wow, guys! The Twolf and Maddog look kickass! This pleases me very much since the Twolf will forever be the ultimate Mechwarrior icon to me.
Small detail but shouldn't the Twolf be a tad bit bigger than the Maddog since its 10 tons heavier? They look about the same size standing next to one another.

Textures on the madcat and vulture look awesome as does the cockpit for the owens!

Question: The computer in the Owens shows a Cougar and a Catapult, can you target multiple mechs? or is that just like a template for now?

Those mechs look Awesome, I will be using those two the most I think, I personally wish the vulture had the turret. The extra laser mounts would have been nice. Anyways Nice work guys! I still wish they had moved all those buttons to this side of the joysticks.. sitting so far back an with the switches behind there. It just makes it look like the whole cockpit is in the front away from the pilot. Maybe thats due to the size of the power armor you were? Inside? IDK but keep up the good work!

Its just for show It says this in the text above the screens, pretty sure it was just thrown in without much thought about which mech it went in. Looks good though.

Looks like the Puma is using a flamethrower on that Awesome.

Everything is looking epic as usual.
