because i know someone will say something- those yellow balls in that one ss are actually razor fences, the location of the asset used got moved before there was time to fix them but the screeny shown was just so epic that the lack of razor wire fences didn't matter
Sanny,
As the former lead level designer for MWLL, I usually do not comment on the updates. IMHO opinion, the ss you are referencing is hardly epic. Here are some constructive comments criticisms I will offer.
1. Good use of 3D terrain offered to the player by using the road tools to create ramps from one base level to the next.
2. Good use of stock Crysis concrete structure brushes.
3. Good use of stock Crysis destructible, exploding tanks.
4. As you probably know, the terrain texture in this base area needs decals to break up the repetitive pattern of the terrain texture. Also some disturbed terrain in this area may add to the battle scarred look.
5.With the use of terrain decals and disturbed terrain, the near perfect look of the terrain lines will depart from the newly painted look.
I will have to lament the un-textured look of Hunter's missile silo model.
I know ... priorities ... priorities .... priorities.
In the pretty up stage of this project, as you all know, ...
God is in the details but do not become seduced by the mindset of making it "perfect".
Whether we all admit it or not MWLL is now in a race with Smith and Tinker. As for me,I would sure like to see you guys win this race!!!
Good work!
Cheers,
Aidan
P.S. The Bushy looks Pro !!!
