Absolutely. I'd plunk $50 if it just had updated visuals..

It WON'T work on Vista. But it IS worth it. You'll need to run it in a Win95 emulator to get it to work (Virtual PC). I, however, would recommend instead seeing if you can't find EarthSiege 2 :)
When will full game/demo/beta be released?

No, I will not stop asking.

You kidding? Mechwarrior 2 was -brilliant-, except that I found everything other than lasers were nigh useless. PPCs seemed to do little damage, yet a couple of large laser hits would crack a mech open.

Um where do you live? Just picked up a copy of MW2 pentium edition for 3 bucks. At another local thrift store. What are the odds?

It was in Eustis, FL

Nope, I live in Texas, the odds are pretty ridiculous though.

OMG! its been 13 years since I last played this.  I forgot how amazing it actually is. The weapons seem more balanced and closer to CBT guidlines. If this is what the mod is going to be like, or even the new mechwarrior game, I think its safe to say that I'm on an entirely new level of excited.

Odds are you can "requisition" it from somewhere on the internet..

It WON'T work on Vista. But it IS worth it. You'll need to run it in a Win95 emulator to get it to work (Virtual PC). I, however, would recommend instead seeing if you can't find EarthSiege 2 :)

Have you got any more in depth instructions on how to get MW2 working on Vista 64 bit?
I pulled out my titanium trilogy the other day and was happy to see it install and load, but the opposite when it froze immediately after.

Thanks.

1. Download Microsoft Virtual PC
2. Follow this tutorial. Make sure you download and use the .vhd.
3. If you have the CDs, you will have to "Use Physical Drive X:\" in the CD menu once win95 is booted up. Otherwise, you can mount a digital .iso if you can make one (which I did).
4: NOTICE: You CANNOT use hardware-accelerated graphics with Virtual PC on Titanium Trilogy.

I decided to get the game and Windows Virtual PC, but I'm having a little trouble setting it up. I set up the virtual machine and put Windows 95 on the floppy drive, and it now runs windows, sorta. I followed the tutorial on youtube, but its not doing the same thing. It will say Starting Windows 95 in text, then it will go to something about the CD ROM Device driver for IDE, and the A: drive. Any help would be appreciated.
