I tried this a while ago (I think there was another thread on it already), but then it was just one space and one ground map and noone online to play against and on the ground map, the bots would capture/defend the first objective and then stand around and do nothing.
Now they've released 1.0 so I'll check it out again, but there are some things I didn't like, but that might be egine limitations.
Like the flight model of even the biggest ships in space was the same as the little flyers in UT3 have, only slower, which imho doesn't fit big battleships and circle-strafing around other ships so you can align your big frontal guns with your enemy is something I don't think is practical.
I'd rather have the big guns in seperate turrets, but that'd leave the pilot with nothing else to do so...

Just noticed 1.0 was the one I tested, as it was released in 2008

Oh well, shame, I'll keep an eye on it, hope they truly finish it sometime...
