Not buying MWLL, but I want to pay for it when it's out......

Ok, all this hard work, all this labor. I understand it's a mod, its free. I still would like to make a donation, or somehow send some cash your way for the work you've done. I would gladly paypal what I can when I download it and play it. What's a new game worth now, $40-$50 bucks, I'll pay you that in a heartbeat if it's as good as it looks! So set up a PayPal donation link when you get the release done, cause I'm sending you enough to call it Miller time!

we cannot accept any sort of funding or donations, if we did then this mod would not be possible. the best thing you can do is spread the word about this beast of a project- that would benefit the mod and the community more than anything else! spend that extra money to make the mod look that much better once it's released on some upgrades if you need them ;)

Non-profit ventures can still collect donations - you just have to prove that they didn't go in your pocket, but paid for, say, bandwidth...

It's much easier to simply not accept anything financial and ask you (the interested public) to instead invest that money in things like dedicated servers and Crysis Maximum when the mod becomes available.

I don't care if they spend it on a business meeting in Amsterdam, they deserve it! After all, we can't have these guys working this hard on 775 socket PC's, they should be running i7 rigs with 60inch HDMI TV's hooked to them for proper testing! They should have  Kegerators right next to the gaming rig, with hot female massage therapists on standby! These guys should have the best servers, the best rigs, the best chairs. If we can't pay them for it, then let us donate to the equipment and meetings fund! Set up the Paypal account......

maybe buy them a new computer then and ship it to them as a gift?

I mentioned this before but.......

Why doesn't someone(s) set up a paypal account where we can donate money towards a quality server and connection? I don't have the know-how or time but I, like many others here, would be more than happy to pay somebody something for this "game" when it comes out.

I'll gladly send the $50 bucks or so to any paypal account set up for this! Set it up when you get the mod launched, I'll send the money via paypal so you can buy the equipment! More than happy to send you funding for the equipment needed to develop this!

I got a better idea. Since I'm not affiliated with the dev team, paypal the donations to me and I'll make sure the money gets invested in beer and hookers.  That way MWLL won't get into any hot water with the lawyers and stuff.  I'm here for ya, guys.
