I have it set to pro, but I had the manufacture assists on. Come to find out, that it was the stability control that was doing that. Now with that corrected, I'm having a hell of a time trying to get my Cayman S to act like a proper race car. It tends to be a little boucy at speed, but if I correct the bou,ce then I lose cornering almost completely.

Also, you noticed how either aggressive/ glued the AI is to their racing line? Tbh its getting rather annoying.

On Hard they are rather persistent on their racing lines but if you are aggressive yourself they will act in the same manner.. it really comes down to treat them like you want to be treated. Though that's not always true, though it is nice the game doesn't suffer from Race Line Tanking where you can't push the AI off it no matter what (Forza 2). After playing several hours with my friends in a Playseat and the G25 on Hard, Pro, no assists, we agreed it was a near perfect blend of Realism with forgiving elements.

I must say that Shift is great! After Undercover we have finally something playable. The cockpit view and sounds are perfect! The only bigger disadvantage is that the racing wheel is a must cuz keyboard controls are awful.

using the G25 is no walk in the park either. On tight tracks like willow Springs and Ebisu, it can get quite tricky. Luckily, i have learned to heel-toe on the G25. Its not as clean as real pedals, but it works.

Anyone else find the "Drifting" to be near impossible? Maybe its me?

Zonda R + 185mph + Bumpers = Airplane.

I also think that the drift is really difficult. BTW the Pagani Zonda R is awesome. I thought that Bugatti Veyron was the best car but Pagani Zonda R is much better. Have you tried Nissan GT-R V-spec? Its definitely the best tier 3 car. You can even race against tier 4 cars with this monster.

I've only used the Spec-V in the car battle, and it stuck like glue, which is rather suprising at 150+. I've been playing around with my porsche GT2 and cayman S the most. I did end up buying a Lotus Exige for tighter tracks that are hard for the porshe to do since they get a little back end happy. I will probably end up selling the Cayman S so I'll have enough for the Zonda R.

Also, endurance races are awesome, and actually make you feel like an actual race.
