Is it possible to play the MechPack Mechs in the campaign mode (not only the "Instant Action" mode)?

TIA

Head over to the mektek boards, i think someone did manage this somehow, but i can't find it anymore.
Also, in the new free re-release, they will try to do just that as a basic installation feature too.

How can I get the Mech's in Campain, New Mech's in Campain

I think that you didn't understand the original post right. The thread you linked to is about swapping MekPak Mechs with the standard ones.

I'm not interested in that, I'm interested in playing Mech Pack (Clan and IS) Mechs, not MekPak Mechs, in the campaign mode of the game. The Mechs are available in game, but only in "Instant Action" game play mode.

And in some Missions, the Bot will actively use them against you.
Especially on Solaris and on some of the later Missions i think.

Yes, they are in the game regardless of weather you own the "Mech Packs" or not, at least the clan Mech Warhawk is in there. Although not in it's primary config, 4xCerPPC + 1xCLRM10.

Especially on Solaris and on some of the later Missions i think.

There's one Warhawk in the Trial of Position Mission on the Steiner ending, and in some Solaris Assault and Championship arenas there's one there to.

  • You can never have too much Firepower
I can't even get a "Mech Pack" there are just too damn expensive. Shame, I would do anything for a Warhawk.

If you're using a 64bit OS or Windows Vista, they won't work anyway.
Wait for the Free Release, they will be in there in a working fashion.

I don't think so. Reading the MekTek forums I've stumbled on some information on how the game handle's the mechs. It seems that for the single player mode, the free market has pre-designed slots for each mech and getting a mech from the MekPak (not Mech Pack) means buying all the mechs of one type from the market, then selling one back (or not), and then buying the same type again, only for it to be a mech from the MekPak.

As I said, weird.

That's how it is right now.
But for the free release, they are trying to fix this actually.

Here's one I made as close as I could get to the Prime model :)

You lucky git, and I doubt the Mech Packs will be in the free downloads as they go for a £50 (and that's a cheap one)

They WILL BE in there.
It's been stated several times.
Vengeance and Black Knight won't be in there, because they don't know how to do the campaign stuff yet.
Everything else they know and will try to do as best as possible. With all Mechs(including both Mektek and M$ Pack) available all over the campaign and also on the other side.
